🏭 Industrial Visit to PES Power Station, Pallivasal

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, in association with IQAC and the Association of Mechanical Engineering (AME), organized an industrial visit to PES Power Station, Pallivasal for the S3 Mechanical Engineering (2025–29 Batch) students. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to real-world power generation systems, plant operations, equipment, maintenance practices, and safety procedures. It offered an opportunity to connect classroom concepts with their practical applications in the power sector. Such industry visits play an important role in developing technical understanding, professional awareness, and practical engineering skills among students.

✈️ Alumni Interaction: Wings Beyond Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, in association with the IE(I) Students’ Chapter and IQAC, successfully organized an inspiring alumni interaction session titled “Wings Beyond Engineering.” The session featured Capt. Adithyan A. R (AJC15ME006), a proud alumnus of the 2015–2019 Mechanical Engineering batch, who shared his inspiring journey from Mechanical Engineering to the aviation industry. After completing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from AJCE, Capt. Adithyan pursued his Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training at the Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, followed by Assistant Flight Instructor Rating training at Orient Flights Aviation Academy, Mysore. He is currently undergoing the IndiGo induction process, marking the beginning of his professional journey as a commercial pilot.
