The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, organized an industrial visit to Tata Consumer Products Limited – Instant Tea Operations, Munnar, on 30 September 2026. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to tea processing, advanced manufacturing processes, industrial operations, and quality practices. It offered an opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world industrial applications while understanding the importance of innovation and sustainability in manufacturing. We extend our sincere gratitude to Tata Consumer Products Limited, Munnar, for facilitating this enriching learning experience.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, successfully organized an Industry Interaction Session on “Importance of Safety Policy in Industry.” The session was led by Mr. Vaisakh VG, Plant Head, Tata Consumer Products Ltd., Munnar, who shared valuable insights into workplace safety, risk management, safety policies, and industrial best practices. The interaction provided students with a practical understanding of how effective safety policies contribute to a safe, efficient, and sustainable industrial workplace.
