Industry Invited Talk | Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, in association with the Centre for Research Innovation and Consultancy (CRIC) and the Training and Placement Cell, successfully organized an Industry Invited Talk on “Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA): A Proactive Approach to Workplace Safety” on 17 September 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Stephy James, Associate Professor, HSE Trainer, Auditor & Safety Consultant, who shared valuable insights into workplace hazards, risk assessment methodologies, and proactive approaches to building safer work environments. The interactive session helped students understand the importance of safety awareness, hazard identification, risk prevention, and sustainable workplace practices. 👏 We sincerely thank Dr. Stephy James for the insightful session and everyone who contributed to making the programme a success.
