‘Team Stellar’ (Electric Vehicle Team of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering) on their remarkable achievement in multiple categories at the Solar Electric Vehicle Championship (SEVC) 2026, a national-level electric vehicle design competition, organized by Coimbatore Society of Racing Minds (CSRM) at Hindusthan College of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore. Among the six dynamic events of the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) category, “Team Stellar” won prizes in the following sections. 1. Maneuverability Winner (controlling and completing highly constrained track in less time), 2. Best Acceleration (covering a short distance in very less time), 3. HOH Winner (Rain test, waterproof vehicle), 4. Endurance Winner (Final Track Race – completing 1hr endurance, securing 1st position in BEV category and overall)

Team Zeptar, the Women’s Go-Kart Team of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, on their historic participation in the 13th GKDC – 2026, organized by ISNEE Motorsports and held at Coimbatore from 20th to 24th February 2026. Representing our institution on a national motorsport platform, the team showcased exceptional determination, technical excellence, and teamwork, bringing great pride to the college. 🔹 Key Highlights: Participated in the 13th GKDC – 2026 (National Level Competition) Competed in the CV Category Only All-Women Team in the CV category

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, proudly congratulates the S1 B.Tech ME (2025–29 batch) students for their outstanding academic performance. Their remarkable SGPA achievements reflect dedication, consistency, and a strong foundation for future academic success.

TEAM RAPID on their remarkable achievement at the 13th GKDC, conducted by ISNEE and held at Kari Motor Speedway Racetrack. Out of 105 teams registered for this prestigious national-level competition, only 30 teams successfully cleared the TI Test. We are proud to share that TEAM RAPID was among the qualified teams, demonstrating exceptional technical competence and dedication. In the highly competitive Endurance Test, the team secured 2nd Position in Kerala and an impressive 11th Position at the All India level. This outstanding accomplishment reflects their technical excellence, perseverance, and strong team coordination. This achievement brings immense pride and honor to our institution. We sincerely appreciate the hard work, commitment, and determination of the entire team and extend our best wishes for their continued success in future endeavors.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (Autonomous), organized an online alumni interaction session titled “From Campus to Career” on 4th February 2026 via Google Meet. The session was delivered by Mr. Roshan Oommen Jacob (B.Tech ME 2018–2022), currently with Synergy Marine Group, who shared valuable insights on career growth and industry expectations.

Five S4 Mechanical Engineering students from Amal Jyothi College of Engineering have successfully secured internship opportunities with stipend at Fluidtron, Northampton, USA. This achievement reflects the department’s commitment to academic excellence and industry readiness among its students.
