Seminar on Energy Conservation and Management
Energy conservation refers to the reducing of energy consumption through using less of an energy service. Energy conservation differs from efficient energy use , which refers to using less energy for a constant service. Driving less is an example of energy conservation. Driving the same amount with a higher mileage vehicle is an example of energy efficiency. Energy conservation and efficiency are both energy reduction techniques. Smart Energy Programme (Technical) cell under Energy Management Centre, TVM and ISTE Kerala Section jointly organized a seminar on “Energy Conservation and Management” on 29th March 2017. Mr. B V Suresh Babu, Accredited Energy Auditor, Ottotractions took the session.
