TALK ON INDIAN SPACE SAGA – A GLIMPSE
Association of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has organized a talk by Shri. K. Sreekumar, Retired Group Director – Material Division, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvanthapuram, Kerala for B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering First year students on 28 th September 2019. Head of the Department, Prof. Toms Philips introduced the welcomed and introduced the speaker to the audience. Shri. Sreekumar discussed about the history of Indian Space Research and elaborated the opportunities for students in VSSC and ISRO for knowledge enhancement through field visits, scope for higher studies, options for taking up research projects and how to prepare themselves for good job prospects in these organizations.
