Workshop on “Safety and Disaster Management”
Safety Club in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a Workshop on “Safety and Disaster Management” on 01/02/2020. The workshop was held at St.Alphonsa Hall (CC110) at 10.00 am. The workshop was handled by Fire & Rescue Office Team, Kanjirappally. The team has included Sri. Joseph Joseph, Fire Station Officer and five other officials. Around 125 first year B.Tech. students from both Mechanical and Electrical branches have attended the workshop. Both theory and practical sessions on safety were included in the workshop. The workshop delivered instructions on guidelines to identify hazards, report them, and deal with incidents. The workshop was also provided awareness to the students about how to save a life in real-time situation of any kind of danger or calamity that occurs with no advance or very little time.
