Innovation Recognized: YIP 8.0 Funding Achievement by S4 Mechanical Engineering Students
Amal Jyothi College of Engineering proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its S4 Mechanical Engineering students for securing funding under the Young Innovators Programme (YIP) 8.0.
The project titled “Megnexus Nutmeg Desheller” has been awarded a funding of ₹50,000 for being recognized as one of the best projects under the programme. This innovative solution aims to address practical challenges in nutmeg processing by introducing an efficient and scalable deshelling mechanism.
The project was developed under the guidance of Dr Meby Mathew (Team Mentor), with dedicated contributions from Cristopher Jacob, Jenin J George, and Aswin A Nair. Their collaborative effort, technical expertise, and innovative thinking played a crucial role in achieving this milestone.
This accomplishment reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation, research, and real-world problem solving among students. Participation and recognition in initiatives like YIP empower students to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
