‘Eminent Engineer’-Jippu Jacob
Jippu Jacob, Head, Postgraduate Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally, was awarded the title ‘Eminent Engineer’ of the Institution of Engineers (India), at the function held in Thiruvananthapuram during February 22-23, 2014. Dr. Jiipu Jacob, who is a former Dean of the Kerala Agricultural University, received the honour from P. Rajendran, Vice Chancellor, Kerala Agricultural University, at the 27th National Convention of Agricultural Engineers in Thiruvananthapuram. The award was in recognition of four decades of eminent service and contributions in agricultural engineering, particularly in education and research. Dr. Jippu Jacob has two patents to his credit.
He was felicitated by the college for the same by K. C. Joseph is the present minister for Rural Development, Planning & Culture of the Government of Kerala.

One day Fusion 360 Workshop on CAM Fundamentals scheduled as follows Date: 24-10-2024 (Thursday) Time: 09.30 am - 03.30 pm Venue: CCB 104 (ME CAD Lab) Features of the program: The program is free and conducted by BIMIT Kochi (Authorized trainer of Autodesk) Autodesk Course Completion Certificate will be provided to all. Teaching and Non-teaching faculty can attend the training. This would be an activity oriented workshop, as all participants shall join from their Computer/Laptop, and Fusion 360 Software shall be installed.
