Industrial Visit to ‘Kalkura Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipments Pvt. Ltd.’

A 3-dayIndustrial Visit to ‘Kalkura Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipments Pvt. Ltd.’ was organized by the S3 Mechanical Engineering students (BTME2018-22-S3-A) of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Kanjirapally from 04/10/2019 – 07/10/2019. 44 students accompanied by 3 faculties took part in this trip.

Kalkura Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer of commercial refrigeration systems, equipments, hotel/canteen equipments and general-purpose machinery. It was our first destination. We visited the industry at 05/10/2019 10:00 am and spend 2 hours there. We were able to understand the application of various machining processes in the field of manufacturing. We were able to understand different manufacturing processes and also learned about various machines and tools involved in it. A technical expert explained the processes involved in the production and assembly of refrigeration systems. The visit was very useful for us to gain practical knowledge and would also be helpful for us to gain placement at such industries.
