ROAD SAFETY WEEK

The stall which was set up at the CMS College, Kottayam as part of the inauguration of road safety week attracted a lot of crowd due to its uniqueness and specialties.

The programme was organized by the Motor Vehicles Department of Government of Kerala which was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister, Shri Oommen Chandy in the presence of Honorable minister of Transport, Shri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan.

Our stall which was put up in in collaboration with the Mechanical & Automobile Departments were visited by the officers in the Motor Vehicles Department and Kerala Police who appreciated the equipment displayed. The common people to whom the interior parts of an automobile is unknown showed special interest to understand the details and intricacies of 

 

automobiles and the problems they face in their day-to-day driving  along with its solutions and prevention were discussed at the stall. 

In short, the stall organized by our college as part of the road safety week inauguration was a grand success and it gave insight to around 500 visitors regarding the inside of a vehicle and its operations.
