"Recent trends in Nano Composites"
The Mechanical Engineering department in
association with the AJCE-ISTE chapter conducted a one-day seminar on “Recent
trends in Nano Composites” on 15
th July 2014 for the students of
Mechanical, Civil and Metallurgy Departments. The seminar was inaugurated by
Dr. K Padmanabhan, Asst. Director and Head, centre for excellence in Nano
composites, VIT University. Rev. Fr. Dr. Jose Kannampuzha gave the presidential
address. The seminar sessions were handled by Dr. K Padmanabhan and Dr. Soney C
George.

Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with AICTE IDEA LAB at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering is proud to announce a Hands-on Workshop on 3D Printing for the Undergraduate students of AJCE. The program is conceived in such a way that the student, on completion of the event, will be able to: ∙ understand the basics of Part Design ∙ Exposure on 3D Modelling Tools ∙ Fundamentals of Assembly Components ∙ Overview on Additive Manufacturing and file preparation for 3D Printing.
One day Fusion 360 Workshop on CAM Fundamentals scheduled as follows Date: 24-10-2024 (Thursday) Time: 09.30 am - 03.30 pm Venue: CCB 104 (ME CAD Lab) Features of the program: The program is free and conducted by BIMIT Kochi (Authorized trainer of Autodesk) Autodesk Course Completion Certificate will be provided to all. Teaching and Non-teaching faculty can attend the training. This would be an activity oriented workshop, as all participants shall join from their Computer/Laptop, and Fusion 360 Software shall be installed.
