Seminar on "Bus Body implementation Code AIS 052 in India"

A seminar on the topic ' Bus Body implementation Code AIS 052 in India' by Mr.Arun Joy Kurian , Chief Coordinator, Bus Body Code, M/s Kondody Autocraft India Pvt.Ltd  was held on 21th March 2016 at R.S Auditorium with a packed audience, jointly organized by Association of Mechanical Engineering and ISTE Students' chapter. Bus building code to ensure that buses are built as per stipulated standards related to safety, design and comfort. According to this code (AIS: 052), every bus manufacturing unit will have to obtain accreditation certificate to demonstrate their capabilities to build buses as per the safety standards set by ARAI, which is premier testing and certification agency.As of now, there are no norms with which we can demand bus builders and operators to change their designs that result in cramped journey, extreme heat, intolerable vibration, noise and poor safety standards. “I-RUN” - 2016 : Awareness on women’s safety

“I- RUN 2016 " is a marathon race organized by Mechanical Engineering Department to create awareness on women’s safety. Date : 18 th March 2016 (Friday),  Time : 4.45 p.m. For Boys : Starting Point : St. Dominics Cathedral  Church Ground For Girls : 26 th Mile Junction. Finishing point shall be AJCE Ground.

AAJPACT INAUGURATION

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and Asian Institute of Petroleum and Construction Technology took a joint venture to form  Asian Amal Jyothi Petroleum and Construction Technology ( AAJPACT )  to bridge the existing skill gap amongst young engineers in the field of mechanical, petroleum, electronic, electrical and allied process industries.   The inauguration of the same was  held at Main auditorium on Thursday, (17-03-16).
