ZERO WASTE - KOTTAYAM-  We owe a lot to others!!! As  per MG University, in addition to the requirements prescribed for the award of B.Tech. Degree, each student must complete compulsory social service for a total duration of 15 days during 3 rd to 7 th semesters.  Normally students do not undergo any social service of much relevance to the community.             Mechanical Engineering department in  AJCE,  in consultation with some local self governing bodies, decided to send the students for community work at Mundakayam Grama Panchayat   for reducing and re-cycling plastic waste –“ ZERO WASTE initiative KOTTAYAM”. Hence we  joined hands with Mundakayam Grama Panchayat for creating awareness on “ Reducing-Refusing & Re-cycling” of plastic materials among the citizens.  As a part of the programme 40 students of second year Mechanical Engineering were requested to deliver this message to each and ...

The 11th graduation ceremony hosted by the college was conducted on 3rd June 2015. The graduates received their degree from Padmashree M. Chandra Dathan, Director, VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram and Dr. M.S Ananth, Former Director, IIT Madras, Mr. Jose Thomas, GM, Sunny Diamonds, Kochi was also present to present the ‘ Sunny Diamond Award’ to the Gem of AJCE.
